Happy to hear that everything is OK now. Did they install a remote zerk fitting for the throwout bearing? Curious, because when they are buried like that they often get neglected.

I don't believe they installed a remote zerk fitting. I will certainly NOT neglect that or the clutch adjustments.
I will probably find myself checking in that access panel once a month. I might even cut a piece of plexiglass to replace the metal panel for easy viewing. I've now become an expert in Foton clutch diagnostics. Happy to help anyone with this related issue. Will be some time before I get it out to the farm again, but I did bring the bucket into contact with a big frozen pile of snow last night after unloading it from the trailer and was able to push till all 4 tires spun. Never, from day one could I do that. Was clearly not adjusted properly from day one. Joe |

I noticed one of your early photos revealed a grease zerk on the throwout bearing. My 454 has a greasable TOB as well (the 354 has a sealed bearing). It's not hard to get a grease gun through the 454 inspection port. I do mine twice a year,
