Just want to stress how important it is to check the adjustment of your clutch for proper free play. Most dealers who properly prep these tractors will take care of this for you, but I would double check anyway.

Yes, like I said in the first page of that thread, the clutch was toast. Everytime you get on the tractor or drive a manual transmission vehicle for that matter you should feel for free travel and if it's not there get the clutch adjusted RIGHT THEN.
It don't take long to burn a clutch up if it is slipping. I'm glad your up and running now. |
