        There are diesel shops in China, just like here. You knew it was uncharted territory for you, but you went there anyway.

          Wow, even though you marked the gear you have NO clue as to what position the injector pump was in in relation to the rest of your engine.

           

          You can start with finding your timing marks on the crankshaft,the timing on the Y385 engine is 16 degree BTC. ,once you locate the timing mark you will have to see what position your injector pump is at, you will have to remove the gear off the front and get it in time with the crankshaft.

            Thanks Bob  I just got it fired up, about 10 deg change and it started up better than ever.  Timming was probably out from the factory as it was allways hard to start.  Just turned the key and  it took off right away.

              Glad to hear it's working. Did you spill time it, or just fiddle with it until it worked? I'm just curious in case I ever need to do it.

                I Spill timmed it. Easy to do once you know how.
