  I think lava cap is even tougher than caliche. More like steel scrap that’s welded together. Would need at least a five tonner I think. :wacko:
  
  My mini is only 3-1/2 tons and 40 hp, so the caliche is a challenge and is pretty stressful on the machine as you can see. I still have about ten feet to go. :unsure: :scratch:

    They don’t try around here with anything but a hydraulic hammer or drills and ANFO. When I first moved here nobody had hydraulic hammers and the neighborhood was still filling in. All summer long the house would shake 10-15 times a day quickly followed by a loud BOOM. :wacko:
