Try a local electric motor repair shop. They sometimes have “universal” brushes that could maybe be modified.

Another place would be a good old fashioned auto parts store that has real clerks, not just keyboard monkees. Take the old one to show them and ask if they have anything like it. If they insist on make and model to look it up, you are in the wrong place.

        good luck

I took the brushes out and next week our covid lockdown is supposed to end so I can visit a couple places to see what I can find. The alternator is designed to allow brush removal without having to open it up so I’m surprised a search hasn’t found anything. Take the model # plate off and the brushes are right there. Off course that was discovered after I opened it, but had to anyways to get the broken brush out.

I think you should be good to go once you are able to get out . I have reshaped brushes to make them work in things they were not designed to work in before, if you do  go down that road carbon is soft so go slow when modifying brush to fit.

There is a brand logo or symbol on the brush mounting plate, don’t recognise it but electric shop likely will.
