I ordered a three-point-hitch pallet fork from them online about eight months ago, and it was shipped from one of their Midwest stores to Washington state. It was all done online. But, when I found out that it wouldn’t work with a quick hitch they bent over backwards and sent me an adapter (which didn’t work either) trying to make it work for me. Many emails ensued, and finally they bought it back and made an update in their catalogues stating it wouldn’t work with quick hitches.

I have found several companies that won’t take credit cards over the phone. It’s a security thing.

tsc is ok we have a store in town but to me it has gotten more for the under 10 acre crowd. I wish we had a agri suppy co. local they surround me in n.c.,s.c. and ga. but none in tn. when I go to fl. I always stop at the ga. store they have a huge inventory and good prices to.

I have to apologize. It was Agri Supply that I dealt with on the pallet forks, NOT TSC. I have never dealt with TSC.

After the conversation with the fellow at the Puyallup store I again used the online contact form asking why they had this form if they didn’t do online ordering, and was told the first reply I received was from someone that didn’t know what they were talking about and that they do indeed have online ordering. After looking at the site again I see there are things that can be ordered online, but 3 point auger bits aren’t one of them. You can order the replacement tip, and bits for a 2 man post hole digger but that’s it. Anyway I’m picking up the one at the feed store today so all is good.

We have a tsc store here. I’ve never tried to order online from them. I usually got to rural king as prices are usually better. I have ordered online from rural king and agri supply with no problems from either one.

In Oregon we have Wilco stores, and Coastal, who swallowed up a three store chain known as Big R a couple months ago. I went to the Coastal store Saturday. The 6″ auger TSC doesn’t sell online was 62.45 less at Coastal after 10% off. I also picked up a 9″ for 32.00 less than the one I can’t buy online, and they threw in a 20.00 gift card to boot. :good: Now to put them to use, I have 150′ of fence to put up.

Wow Tin… up here we know about stores swallowing up others (or maybe just owners switching). I’m now wondering about the whole Big R story. In the CDA/Sandpoint/Spokane area we had D & B stores. They also were down in the Boise area. A few years back the stores up north here were bought out by Big R while the D & B stores around Boise are (were) still there. Then the Big R stores (4) about a year ago were almost overnight changed to something called “North 40” stores. The prices went up. The merchandise they sold went from a farm & ranch & feed type store to an “outfitter” store. :negative:   Now if you want ski things, cross country, backpacks, designer (?) clothes, or a sled dog setup, it’s a great place… I guess. What was left merchandise wise for home & garden stuff, that people used to buy, went up in price and the quality of the store and the hired help has tanked. A lot of friends now refer to it as “North 40 Highway Robbery Store”.  🙂 The 6″ and 9″ auger I bought there for $112 & $121 that fit my Leinbach PHD is now $127 & $139. But I guess this is what you call progress.

I tried dealing with TSC before, but like you, it seemed like a lot of BS and getting the run around to get things done. Not to mention the SHIPPING COST. I gave up on them.

                    People are hilarious...
I'm supposed to choose and be in one of the 2 parties. And NEITHER is worth a damn!

Sounds familiar. Big R sold nuts and bolts by the pound, Coastal sells a much smaller selection in blister packs. And more clothes. Big R used to have the best selection of chain and hooks around. Coastal has almost nothing. And more clothes. Big R had a large selection of welders. Coastal has, well you get the idea.

This over-gentrification happens when you get too many MBA’s in the main office. 😥

We’ve got a TSC store here in Nixa, good to deal with. Very friendly. I have to cover a lot of distance & end up working on stuff at odd hours. So glad they are open in the evenings.
