Ya that's what she said too, but darn I still want a 3pt. logsplitter. I waited for it to warm up a little and went out and put the tiller together. I got all the bearings and shafts greased and filled both gear boxes. It took a little longer than I figured so ran out of daylight to hook it up and run it. The grounds frozen anyway – that will be another day.

It's funny you say that, because I did that out of the blue last week. I'd say it paid off! Ya, the next purchase will more than likely be the gator. I'll tell you what, the more I get the smaller my barn gets!

I hooked the tiller up yesterday and sized the pto shaft. I had to cut 5″ off both pieces. I left the tube guards off, I want to be able to see the shaft. The tiller runs great, but my wife wouldn't let me till the yard up! I guess I'll have to wait until I haul it out to the farm.

The neighbor asked me to till an area where he took some old pines out. Jumped at the chance to try it out!!!

Got a new one too, last week.  Kind of said to the wife in passing several months to a year ago, “it would be kind of nice to have a tiller for the tractor”.  Kind of repeated it a couple times over that course of time.  Now that garden time is hear, it was “Why don't you get a tiller?”

So I got a tiller.  I got a Land Pride, reverse tine 5 foot.  Took it out and tilled the garden spot. I was totally amazed at how fine it worked up our clay soil.  Like powder on top.  Wife was all smiles.  (She thinks I am a genius.)wink

Alright – good for you! Sure beats a walk behind. Mine's a forward tine but I have the option to change it to reverse tine. According to the book the gear box can be rotated to make it reverse tine. We'll see how it goes the way it is before trying to change it.
