  The Perkins engine might be too recent for some CTOA members.

  I know of a few people on here that have them, all our customers we have sold them to are very happy with them.

  I assume that all tractors now imported must meet EPA requirements, thus its important to know about the engines and which dealers are able to provide them as well.

  My Perkins is working out fine in the J254. I don’t have a single complaint with it. It starts easily, runs strong and consistently. I’ve only got 55 hours on it, but I really like it. It’s easy to work on, too.
