Do you have quick couplers for your FEL? These have been known to be problematic and cause pump spiking/deadheading. Some have removed the internals to remedy the problem, others have reverted to flat-face couplers, and others have removed them altogether.

yes, but it has happened when the FEL wasn’t even attached.

That does not matter. What happens is they come partially UN-connected and that causes the internal valve to close which in turn can cause the pump to “dead head”. When that happens the oil has no where to go except out past the seal. At high speeds it can ruin the pump too.

Not sure about your 454 but on my 284 the couplers were just standard 1/2″ NPT so I replaced all 4 (two sets) with off the shelf better quality ones from my local farm supply store. No worries about them unlocking now.

Another cause could be a sticking pressure relief valve that is over pressuring the system and blowing the pump seals.

Sounds like you problem is somewhere besides the pump/seals.

I am kinda leaning on the over pressure relief with the system disconnected from the loader and you are not activating any controls and you blow a seal what else could it be? The only thing else would be the valve body activating pressure when it should not be and not bypassing. I guess.

Can anyone suggest a easy quality replacement valve, and couplings, and where to get them?

I went to tractor supply and got pioneer brand off the shelf. They got the different  colored dust caps too. But I do not have a loader on my tractor they were used on the remotes. I believe they are the same.

That was just for the connectors, the valve body I think you will need to go elsewhere.   I do not know where you are but try Ranch Hand I think they are in Texas. They should be able to get you started.

I was mistaken they are in Virginia.

I have 07 Jinma, I have had no problems with the hydraulic pump. I use the standard oil from TSC. I have hose clamps on the quick connects, so that they cannot become separated even slightly! Not sure if Chinese or not. I will have to check that.
