As you know, I can find fault with almost anything but that looks like a very good program. On the west coast many of those classes are taught at the community college level, and cost waaaaayyyyy less money. I wish more people that operate tractors and heavy equipment (including farmers) would take courses like those.

I got some classroom time at Edison Tech in Seattle years ago. Can't say it hurt me either. laugh

Probably accounts for some of my 'tude. wink

It's painfully obvious I am very new to all of this but I've always tended to try and learn new things the right way the first time.  It's a lot easier than having to un-learn the wrong way.  Less costly in the long run too.

Don't worry about the 'tude.wink  I've been on the net since before there was a net.  I've developed a pretty thick skin for 'tude.  argue

That was a good instructional article. Its good to see that I for sure didn't know what I was doing! Most of us learned by just doing and that is not always the safest or correct way!. readin

Very good information for non-experienced backhoe operators. It will be very useful to me as I'll be upgrading our access road to our cottage this summer and there is a variety of hills that I'll need to be extra careful when using the backhoe in those areas.
