  That is not a common problem that I am aware of. If the right steering clutch won't disengage, then the machine will not turn to the right. Same if the brake/steering clutch operating sequence is out of adjustment. The symptoms you describe have been noted in machines that have been idle and stored outside for extended periods.
  
  It would help to know whether it has pendulum pedals or direct link pedals.
  
  Northern Tool is your first contact for owner's and parts manuals. All common and simple adjustments are covered in the owner's manual. There is no service/repair manual available.

  Northern Tool does have the manual in stock. The part number is XCOMAN06.
  
  It would be nice to have.
  
  Do you know how much an operator's, service, or parts manual cost for a Cat D3? This is a bargain at 3x the price.
