        Solenoids don't go bad too often, but they do get dirty and lock up.  You might want to take your starter off and clean all aspects of it thoroughly before consigning it to the junk pile.

          If you are interested, get me an Email address and I can send you a PDF file with pictures, etc on the solenoid and or starter disassemblies.  I have the Jinma 284 with the 385 engine, but suspect that starters and solenoids are the same.

            The solenoids are all different, we should have one that fits your tractor, we need to know the starter number. Some of the TY395 engines have the QD1315D starter
