No doubt she figured out that the slots were all on the inside so no way it could be a sprinkler, but she just didn't feel like arguing. laugh Did you make the horse? Nice! Daughter is a cutie! laugh

Yea I don't think she fell for the sprinkler bit either, I knew it wouldn't work as it was leaving my lips but it was all I could come up with on the spur of the momentroflmao

I built that horse for Christmas when she was two or three.hmmm

Luckily there is a site http://www.funspot.com that makes mats and pads to order, this thing was made by Roadmaster out of Ogdon, Utah, no longer in business. It's not a 12' or a 13', it's 12'9″, a real oddball. I could have bought a new one for not much more than what it's taking to restore this one, but a new cheap one is just that, cheap. These folks in Georgia take pride in their work and make high quality stuff. Besides I want to give my money from one family owned business to another in the good ol USA.cool

Update on the “sprinkler”. The spring pad seems to have been mis-boxed but everything else turned out greatcool

It's obvious the spring pad is for a larger unit, did they charge you extra? laugh

That did turn out nicely, indeed.  Good job!  Now just keep firmly in mind that that thing is for the kiddo, and NOT for your middle-aged self.  Those things look to me like a great way to kill old joints. roflmao

Why didn't you use your new fangled forks to move this Eric?  hmmm

How many times did you run over the ring before you got the rope “just right”  frown

Nice job. Looks like it should last a couple years at least.  wink

Acually Jack I put the thing together where it was upside down. The frame was a little tweaked and that was the only way to get the legs slid in. The bucket and rope were used to turn it right side up. After that picture I put a 2×4 under the frame, lowered the bucket, re-tied the rope and did it again. The only way I could figure to flip it by myself. Now that you mention it the forks would have given me more heighthmmm And I did try it out. 15 seconds was enough to tell it was good to go and that I have no business being on itroflmao

You 'load tested” it to insured it would safely hold your daughter. NOT! I'm thinking you are more like the rest of us…. just couldn't resist climbing up there. wink
