If it makes you feel any better, it happened to me too, but I found a work-around. After you make a post and see the results of Mandelman’s handy work, click edit and you can remove all the erroneous script.

I did not look at it till the next day,  but I will look at the fix. Got the radiator back, they had to cut 5 tubes and solder over at the tank but tractor seems to be ok with it, it was pretty hot today and temp. held steady at 175  F. pulling a 5 ft. finish mower for about 1 hour so I think it will be ok.

Five tubes isn’t too bad, so now it’s even more important to keep the air flow good. Have you considered the furnace filter in front of the radiator yet?

it has a factory screen that I have put window screen over . I will keep a eye on it, maybe I will have to do the battery relocate option.

The battery relocation supposedly makes a big difference. I think it was Tommy that had a kit for that.

do you know if that is a tractor specific kit or a more universal type.

I think it was a particular Jinma series specific, not 100% positive though. You’d have to contact him.

I called Tommy today and the battery relocation kit is Jinma specific, so I will have to make something for myself it overheating becomes a issue. Just a FYI

Bummer. I remember seeing where someone had relocated the battery close in to the frame on the right side next to the starter. Actually, you could fab a bracket and mount it behind the seat in one of those weatherproof battery boxes.

I was thinking that since that tractor does not have a loader coming up with something that would go on those loader mounting  holes ,possibly next to the side the starter is on. Maybe going to a smaller battery it has a group 31 on it now and it is only 20 hp. But it does turn over ok when it is cold here with that 31  on there.

Diesel engines need higher capacity batteries because of their higher compression ratio and in some cases the use of electric starting aids.

well yeah,,, I was just thinking group 31 is overkill, we shall see how tight it is over there and make a judgement call
