If I remember correctly, the second or third labor of Hercules was to kill Hydra. And thusly brings forth poetic justice because you will never find a Hydramatic© transmission behind a Hercules engine.

Hydro, from Greek hudōr = water.

The term hydrostatic literally translates to still water. With static being systems or solutions in equilibrium – not moving.

But for symantics sake, the term hydrostatic refers to the transfer of energy from flow and pressure, not from the kinetic energy of the flow.

Fwiw, water is just as compressible as oil, practically speaking, but lacks lubricating properties found and formulated into hydraulic oils.

Are you referring to the tachometer or the hour meter?

Have you checked the clearance between the reluctor and the flywheel teeth.

Do you have the pendulum pedals or deck plate pedals?

Circle-G is one good source and there are several others. Search the dealer index in “Our Dealers” in the black band at the top of the page. Do you have manuals for it?

Yang Dong TY395-E engine parts can be obtained from almost any dealer I believe.

                        Welcome back noonie.

First of all, your machine is pretty light to be doing any fast and serious root work so you’ll find you will just have to work at them longer.

Another thing you can do is use a root pick instead of a bucket for the real tough roots. Some even come with a saw tooth section.

As for the mounting, I believe all you have to do is remove the rigid mount framework and reinstall the lift arms and links. The top link remains the same, If I recall.
