Hal, I know how to upload images. I've done quite a few as you can see.
I am still unable to browse the images I have already uploaded (still get the http 500 error). I find it curious that nobody else has this issue but me (sigh).
One thing to note however, is that now I can't get out of the SimplePress browser unless I exit the entire page.
Ball is still in your court.

Hi Mack,
The weep (tattletale) hole serves two purposes.
1) It tells you when the seal has failed.
2) I provides an escape for the coolant so it doesn't force it's way into the bearing and ruin it, and possibly take out the radiator, alternator, etc.
What do you mean the weep hole and gasket “don't match up with the old one”? Is the bolt pattern different? Different hub pilot size?

Excellent work Greg. Those overhead cranes are really nice to work with.
I see you have what appears to be a shuttle clutch with a very bad gasket
.I still can't post pictures here so they will be on the other website when I'm ready.

Proof positive that Mr. Mandelman is working on a solution to his problem by managing permissives.

Glad to hear you're making good progress.

Don't know about that, but the end cover was obviously 180 out which was a pump assembly glitch. The new pump was assembled correctly, so in reality there were probably two underlying issues resolved.

Yep. The end cover was reversed 180 degrees. Bummer. The picture should have been taken from the rear or rear oblique of the pump to show the discharge port as being opposite of the suction port. Glad all is well now.

Is this poor guy still waiting, or has he lost patience and gone elsewhere?

Hal will probably have the site fixed by the time I'm ready
