You're welcome. Good luck. laugh It will probably go easier for you since to don't have the FEL option hoses in the way.

I don't remember the length of the wire rope offhand, so I would only swage one end with a thimble and use cable clamps with a thimble on the other end for a rough adjustment of the length. Fine tuning the length is accomplished with the eyebolt.

This is the brake mod. The sheave take up has 2x ratio over the mechanical linkage. It works very well for me. It's pretty cramped installing it though.

Unfortunately I can’t post pictures from my phone, but if you go to my FB page all the data and pics are there.

Not very likely because the two are one in the same. Guilin was the original manufacturer, and they were acquired by Yuchai in the mid '90's. Since then there have been several aesthetic changes, most notably a failed attempt at a fiberglass body. All during this time the undercarriage has remained basically unchanged, although a couple of importers have added an additional top carrier roller and a few more bells and whistles.

Ha! I'm not a hobby farmer, I'm a retired chief engineer and I make money with my equipment, plus doing my own projects.

Really too bad you can't get to my FB page because it shows a few of my own and client jobs with videos, as well as some dozer and other equipment mods.

Yes. That PTO runs at engine speed. It is a tang drive.

The splined shaft below it turns at 540 or 720 (1,000 on some) r/m at 1,750 engine r/m. These speeds are requirements for certain implements.

Yes, this is the same configuration on most wheelies. wink

People have installed relays in the glow plug circuit for that very reason, to avoid having the high amperage inrush go through the key switch.

What weight / type of engine oil are you using? This can make a difference in cold weather. A 15w-40 oil that meets API CH-4, CG-4, CF-4, CE such as Chevron Delo 400LE or Shell Rotella T.

You can see the Prince PTO pump buried underneath the quick hitches hydraulic top link. This is now set up to run the laser grader.

This is an older pic with a test gauge, but it's still basically plumbed the  same way, with a few refinements.
