Yes. It’s mounted on the rear of the intake manifold and plumbed to the exhaust manifold. It’s controlled electrically from engine temperature. Just a thought.

Another case for rubber tracks. I would expect to see wear like that if you were constantly working in sandy loam or similar material, but not at 380 hrs.

I know what you mean. I just bought a 2,000 lb three-point pallet fork from Agri Supply. I can use it on the rear of the dozer and on the skid steer. Cheap.

Check to see if there is sludge build up around the push rods.
How is your EGR valve plumbed?

It's a small hydraulic cylinder that replaces one of the two lifting links that attach to the lower lifting arms. Pretty sweet if you crown roads or do irrigation trenches. Can also use the box or scraper blade to bench in on an incline. Pretty easy to plumb in with just a shuttle valve and a few hoses. May not be for everybody though.

Cool. I have a root rake on mine too, but I haven't used it much since I got a rake for the excavator.

Mine has more than paid for itself in convenience and time saved. It's a real game changer. No one I know has ever regretted installing one.

So when you get bored with that, next you can try a hydraulic tilt link. laugh

On page eleven of your parts manual, it gives you exploded views of your forward and reverse clutch packs and servos. My guess is that there was no pre-delivery service work done and some debris cut up a servo or shaft O-ring seal. Not an expensive fix, but since you'll be dismantling the whole shuttle clutch you may as well replace them all, and check your clutch discs and plates as while you're in there.

This would also account for the hydraulic squeal. Oil being forced through an orifice at pressure. The orifice in this case is a damaged seal.
