Now you need a machine that will do the stacking.

Hi Jeff, it's saying “I can't take this much longer!”
Any aluminum shavings too? Did you remove the screen? What kind of oil was in it, and what kind of oil were you going to put in it? What year is the machine, and what do you mean by “steering clutch oil”? These have dry steering clutches.

Sounds to me like you have an issue with the starter solenoid.

That thing is a beast! Does it have a wedge on the base too?

That should hold.

There is also the remote possibility that there is a cracked flare, in which case the line should be replaced. Don't even entertain the idea of making your own lines, you can't, they are specially made from heavy wall steel tubing.

Originally I couldn't get it started so I popped the head to inspect for cracked cylinders, bent valves, etc. I bead blasted the head while I had it off. Come to find out it wouldn't start because of a 1″ vacuum line that was eaten away by the critters. It was also the first time I overhauled an updraft carb without using gaskets. Used super grey RTV – so far, so good. Trying to find a rebuilt, or new, Holley 659H with a power jet is impossible.

I see a mouse.
No wait, it's in the upper left corner. I think you over did it a tad.Account deleted.
