There is no crossover to SAE or API. Is this for the dozer?

          Engine oil:

Any brand 15W-40 motor oil that meets API Services CJ-4, CI-4, CH-4.

          Shuttle clutch:

Any brand ISO AW 220 Machine oil (This oil has an AGMA rating of 5, and is indicated for geared friction drives).

          Transmission and bevel gear compartment:

Any brand 80W-90 gear oil that meets API Services MT-1 and GL-5.

          Final drives:

Any brand 85W-140 gear oil that meets API Services MT-1 and GL-5.

          Hydraulic oil:

Any brand ISO AW 32 or ISO AW-46. FWIW: I personally use and recommend multi-grade ISO AW 32/46/68. It compensates for ambient summer/winter temperature changes, and reduces inventory. I use it in both dozers, skid steer, and excavator.

Sorry, I didn't see it. But even if I did, I couldn't open it anyway. Something is wrong with this site again.

              Try posting the pic here:

It's pretty difficult for first time users to post a pic, but easy as pie once you've done it. Click on the little tree in the formatting bar directly above your text, then click on the image to the right of the “Image URL” text box. Then search your computer for the picture file.

Can you post a picture of it please? Don't know if a new shaft would be case hardened or not, but that could be done.

The hydraulic pressure RELEASES the clutch discs and plates, the springs are what ENGAGE the clutch pack. Just like a Cat.

AW46 is the wrong oil to use in the shuttle clutch, but can get by for a short while. Do not use UTF, ATF, or THF oils. Recommended oil is ISO AW 220 MACHINE OIL, or Caterpillar TO-4. These oils have an AGMA rating of 5.

The transmission and bevel gear case should be using 75W-90 or 85W-90 gear oil. Anything less and you're asking for trouble. Final drives should have 90W-140 gear oil.
