        Reducing picture file size for uploading can be done on an IPhone. The CTOA website only allows 1000 KB for an upload.
        Picture  file size can be reduced by shrinking the sides of the picture to remove superfluous information, thus reducing the file size.
        No special photo app is necessary.

          I have since found an even quicker way to reduce file size on IPhone.
          After choosing your photo ,send it to yourself via email,or text. It will ask you what size you prefer for picture/file size. Just choose the picture/file size smaller than 1000KB.
          Once they are received via email or text just copy it and then paste in your  forum comments.

            Correction;

            When sent via text the picture file size was not asked for….only when sent via emails.
