I do not know if your engine has the same to me oddity .I can not get a good dipstick reading on a cold engine, if I just pull out the dipstick on a first pulling out. It will barely read on the stick. When I push it back in and read it the second time it reads where it should be. But I would go with the dipstick not what is in the book for sure.

I have one of those 12 ton bearing presses from harbor freight that I used to mostly straighten mine .the only down side to the press is it is not a pass thru ,but running on a diagonal it will still work.

you know I have not heard of those being used for awhile,I guess the rejection problems got figured out, without killing the patient.my father in law did not go that route he went mechanical, ticks like a clock.but still above ground.

I think it is on a return but either way I do not have any problems but I was also stumped about the copper flakes in the screen and none in the bottom of the trans or rear end.like I said before this is the third oil change and the oil looks good no iron in the screen a little on the drain plug  magnets.why now if it was left over manufacturing cuttings,I guess I will put arother 100 hrs on it and look again.thanks

in the external filter canister which has a screen in it under a floorboard.the tractor has a common sump in the rear end ,trans ,power steering. I have been using utf for above since there are gears and hydros together in the same system.

just to mention I have had no issues with the power steering or lift system, rear end or trans.has common sump to all.  and did I read that someone has a upgraded screen available?
