back to the batteries try a batteries plus store they will redo the batt. for you about 58.00 for a 18.0 volt, they claim their cells have more usable amps than the factory batt.had them do 2 dewalt batt. and they are strong and holding up well.
the only time I use the manual lever is when I test the brakes everytime I use the trailer.I pull a 6 ton trailer with a 1 ton dodge loaded with wood to the pulp mill .
I would say do it now and do your fluids if you have not changed them out.I do not have your specs for valve clearence and head torque.hopefully some else has them
I have the chain type and they work well I have them on my jcb 214 ,I told the guy I ordered them from what I was going to put them on but he must not have known what I have .They are to short I can't see the end of them and the chain was only 1/4 inch and to short to go around the bucket,So sit in the seat and figure out how long the forks need to be so you can see the ends and get 5/16 min. hardened chain to go around the bucket with a little slack and larger chain dogs.I had to do the above changes so make clear what you need or if you what it done right do it youself.
well the truck is a 86 the original engine was a 2.0 there was a blowed up 80 mustang 2.3 in it when I got it ,I traded out some backhoe work for a 90 mustang 2.3 put it in and the engine has very good oil pressure .so I took the 80 carb, manifolds and other assorted parts and got the engine running well it is just the lifter noise that I want to take care of altho maybe I should just run it till it pukes.
